Privacy & cookies
This website is run by Deli-Cious Chocolate Cafe Ltd (company no. 16314928), National Justice Museum, High Pavement, Nottingham, NG1 1HN. If you have any questions about your information, email [email protected] or call 07704 801581.
What we collect and why
- Contact form. Your name, email, phone number (optional) and message, so we can reply to you. These are sent to us by email.
- Orders. When you buy tickets or a gift card, payment is taken by PayPal. We receive your name, email address and what you bought, so we can confirm your order, book your date and honour your gift card. We never see your card details.
- Gift cards. We keep a record of each gift card's reference, value, expiry date and who bought it, so it can be used.
Our lawful basis is to take steps you have asked for (a contract), and to keep the records we need to run the business (legitimate interests and legal obligations such as accounting).
Who else handles it
PayPal (payments), Resend (sends our website emails), Cloudflare (hosts this website) and Midlands Code Lab (looks after the website for us). We don't sell your information or use it for marketing without asking.
How long we keep it
Messages and order records are kept for as long as we need them to deal with your booking or gift card, and order records for up to six years for our accounts.
Cookies
We keep a simple count of how many people send us a message, tap our phone, email or WhatsApp links, or buy online through this website, so we can tell whether it is doing its job. Each entry records only the type of message, link or order, the page and the time. It does not record anything that identifies you.
This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. PayPal sets its own cookies when you use the payment buttons, to process your payment securely.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by contacting us. If you're unhappy with how we've handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
